These rings were inspired by the bamboo baskets. Bamboo is a basic material for local craftspeople to make products. In the past, bamboo baskets were used to carry gifts for one another called Cha-Lom, but nowadays people have replaced them with plastic bag. The charm of Cha-Lom is the space between bamboos woven pattern which directly show what is inside the basket, it is functional and honest. So the rings allow the wearer to carry a little piece of nature with them as shown in the photos, or otherwise what to keep in the basket ring is flexible, according to the wearer’s wishes.
